🎄 A Christmas Surprise

Born on December 25, 2025, Lucky was the second joey born at the Grove to Papa and Marsha Mallow—two of our founding gliders. His big sister Mini came first, and he now has a younger sister who’s also available for adoption (her story is shared on her own page!).

We called him Lucky because we knew how fortunate he was to be born into a home where he was loved and nurtured from day one. He’s grown up in a warm, glider-savvy colony and continues to thrive.

🧺 Bonding Notes

Lucky is neutered and healthy, but he does come with one strong preference: he is not a fan of pouches. In fact, he’s even torn open a zippered pouch to escape when he wanted out! While that sounds dramatic, it just means he’ll benefit from:

  • Pouch-free bonding time, like tent time or walks in a glider-safe room

  • Natural enrichment—he loves setups with hibiscus trees and edible plants

  • Bonding support from a friend—he does better in pouches if a buddy is with him

Currently, he’s housed with Wendy and the Aetherwood girls and doing great socially. Wendy would be a lovely adoption companion for him if you’re looking for a pair.

  • 🐿️ A companion glider, especially for pouch sharing and confidence

  • 🌿 A family open to alternative bonding strategies
