✨ Personality Snapshot

S’Morie is a gentle, resilient little glider with a sweet heart and a brave spirit. Though she had a rough start, she’s growing stronger and fuller every day—and her character is shining through.

🧶 Her Story

Born to Papa and Marsha Mallow, S’Morie initially appeared healthy alongside her big brother Lucky. We had hoped to adopt them out as a pair. However, early on we noticed S’Morie’s fur appeared damp, she stayed hunched in the pouch, and she seemed weaker than expected. After vet tests and mentor advice, she began treatment for a skin condition (“ick”) and was placed on a careful recovery routine of medicated baths and observation. During this time, Lucky was separated to ensure he stayed healthy.

🛁 Recovery Notes & Status

  • Two swabs returned inconclusive, so treatment has focused externally with antifungal/anti‑yeast bathing under expert guidance.

  • S’Morie never would have been adopted prematurely—only once she is fully healthy, active, and cleared of all signs of illness will she be considered for a new home.

  • In the meantime, she remains in our care, receiving extra love, monitoring, and bonding time to build her confidence and health.

When S’Morie is ready for adoption, she will thrive in a home that offers:

  • A calm, nurturing environment with gentle handling and patience

  • A confident companion glider (she has done well with her parents but has not met any other gliders due to the risk of spreading any infection)

  • Willingness to continue her bonding and let her lead at her own pace

  • A home that understands that she should not be bred under any circumstances (due to her young illness and lack of lineage)—we have other gliders for that!
