🌿Back to the Present: A New Chapter for the Grove

It’s official—we’ve caught up.
Every joey born, every adoption made, every hard lesson learned and sweet moment shared… all of it has finally been documented here. From the early days of unexpected pairings to the beautiful and intentional families we now raise, the story of Mountain Grove Gliders has come full circle—right up to today.

And with that, we’re excited to shift gears. From now on, our blog won’t just be about the history of the Grove. We’re planting our feet firmly in the now, ready to share the joys, challenges, changes, and daily realities of running a glider home and hobby breeding program.

🌞 Warm Hearts, Warm Room 🐾

As of the new year, the Grove has a brand-new dedicated glider room!

We knew we needed a better solution for consistent temperature control—especially during the chilly Arkansas winter months. After some planning and rearranging, we finally carved out a quiet, cozy space just for the gliders, complete with a space heater to keep the room sitting at a toasty 75°F.

Not only has this upgrade made things more comfortable for our glider colonies, but it’s also quickly become one of our favorite rooms in the house. Ash especially loves standing in front of the heater, soaking up the warmth while listening to the little sleepy sounds of the gliders tucked in their pouches. Whether it’s day or night, Link and Benji are quick to crab out their protests whenever we make too much noise—an adorable reminder that, as always, they’re the ones running this place. 💕

This room has become more than a habitat—it’s a haven. A spot of serenity in our daily routine, filled with soft rustling, little chirps, and the warm, cozy hum of happy gliders. 🐨✨
